I’ve been juried into the Member’s Show at the Danforth Museum running June-August. I was pleased to have the two images below selected. The show received more than 1400 entries.

I recently finished this double portrait. I’m especially fond of the way it demonstrates the bond between uncle and nephew.

I was juried into a show at the Concord Art Association. This is and image of the painting that made it. It’s a view I see every morning on my walk at the studio. I always stop to admire the beautiful light bouncing off the bridge and the beautiful shadow it casts.

I’ve been juried into a national competition at NKG Gallery, 450 Harrison Ave, Suite 61. The show runs from January 6-21.

I recently finished this painting of a very old building in Concord (MA) – the John Ball House. I was attracted to the weathered copper, its reflection and the perspective

The beach chairs and “Reflections” (see post below) will be in Power Gallery’s summer show running June 18 through Labor Day. It’s a wonderful gallery worth visiting under any circumstance.

My “Tripp Street Bathroom” painting has made it into the Fountain Street show “Industrial Strength.” The show will be up from June 17-July 31.

This painting was selected as one of 13 images of Concord by the Concord Art Association to be in a 2012 calendar. It’s representing June.

Here are a couple of paintings from scenes I see on my morning walks – two sides of the same bridge. I always stop to admire the brilliant glow of the rusted guardrail on my way out. And, I enjoy the cool, unusual shadow and intriguing perspective of the bridge on my way back.
